This blog post illustrates some examples of creating quick & easy cards using ephemera.
This card is my contribution to the Design Team’s selection for the latest Festive Friday Challenge, which is celebrating National Winnie The Pooh Day.
We have used this occasion to come up with a list of elements that we call our Inspo List.
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge. Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all! The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!
My project used: Brown, yellow and twine.
Quick & Easy Cards Using Ephemera
This quick & easy card has been created using the Fully Flowering Mix and Match Ephemera Pack. The sentiment comes from the Simply Said stamp set and the patterned paper comes from the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper. This paper is in the last chance section of the store and is discounted.
You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.

- Score and fold the card base.
- Emboss the DSP with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. Stick the DSP to the Daffodil Delight mat. Add to the card front.
- Use glue dots to build up the pieces in the floral bouquet. Add to the card front with dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment from Simply Said onto the strip of Basic White with Pecan Pie ink. Shape the ends. Add to the card front with dimensionals on each end.
- Add a bow of linen thread to the flowers.
- Add some brass butterflies.
Other Floral Ephemera Projects
These two cards have been created with the same ephemera pack. The first image was an outline image that has been coloured with watercolour pencils. The second card uses the Dotted Circled 3D embossing folder to create the background.
The ephemera packs from Stampin’ Up! are such a versatile and useful addition to your craft supplies.
