Every month I do my best to join in with Kylie’s International Blog Highlights. It is an opportunity to share my project with people all around the world and even more importantly, to check out what gorgeous creations everyone else has submitted.
Each month everyone who visits the highlights gets to choose their favourite 5 projects and then the top 10 feature in a special winners hop.

My Entry
My product of the week this week is the “Grace’s Garden” bundle, so it seemed appropriate that I should incorporate that into my project.
So far, when I have been using this bundle, I have used watercolour pencils and also water coloured the flowers with ink and an aqua painter.
This time I decided to use my Stampin’ Blends.
Instructions
The three different floral stamps from the set were used to create the garden scene. I stamped them in memento ink onto a piece of 10cm x 7 cm whisper white cardstock and then coloured them with a selection of floral colours – Lovely Lipstick, Daffodil Delight, Rococo Rose, Highland Heather and Pumpkin Pie for the flowers and Old Olive, Granny Apple Green and Call me Clover for the foliage. The light Seaside Spray pen created the sky effect around the flowers. I also stamped the sentiment in memento ink.
This stamped piece was mounted first onto a 10.5cm x 7.5cm piece of Rococo Rose cardstock and then onto a 11cm x 8cm piece of Whisper Whire cardstock.
I took a 13.9cm x 9.5cm piece of the gingham Rococo Rose paper from the 2019-2021 In Color 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 14.4cm x 10cm. I then wrapped a piece of the Rococo Rose scalloped linen thread across the gingham paper and stuck it to the back of the mat with tear and tape. This was then stuck to a Rococo Rose standard side opening C6 card base.
I used dimensionals to attach the stamped panel to the front of the card and finished off with some pink sequins from the woven threads collection. This is the collection that co-ordinates with the 2019-2021 In Colours.
This card gives a real sense of warm summer days to come (hopefully) and the sentiment is perfect for a special friend.
