On this Live from a few weeks ago we were celebrating all things Sale-a-Bration and Stylish Sketches, one of the stamp sets.

It seemed perfect to share these projects with you for this Sale-a-Bration themed blog hop today from the team at Crafty Collabortations.

The Stylish Sketches stamp set has a roughly sketched look about the imagery. It features this handsome fox and although I have heard people describe them as geese, I am claiming them as ducks!

Sale-a-Bration and Stylish Sketches

This first card has a clean and simple look that is achieved by using white embossing on a Gray Granite background. The sentiment comes from the Splendid Day suite. This would make a great card for a wedding or engagement.

The background paper also comes from Sale-a-bration and is the silver dots paper from the Silver & Gold 6″x6″ Designer Series paper pack.

This second card featuring the fox, was stamped onto Shimmery White cardstock with Cajun Craze ink. The colour was then dragged out with a Blender pen and some detail added with Black and Cajun Craze watercolor pencils. The mats were cut with the Deckled Rectangles. For this card the Hello Handsome sentiment came from the He’s All That stamp set.

To add some more detail, the large black mat was embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder.
