We are delighted in the UK to be able to share sunshine with paper Pumpkin. Paper pumpkin kits are available in the US as a monthly subscription, but this is only the second one we have been able to buy in the rest of the world.
To celebrate this fact I scheduled a fun get together for anyone who purchased the kit from me.
The Share Sunshine Cards
The kit contains 8 cards, 2 each of 4 designs and all the supplies to create them. In our class we created one as per the instructions and changed up the second one.
You also have supplies to decorate the box. The ideas is that you fill it with yellow/orange goodies and share it with someone who needs some sunshine in their lives.
Filling Your Box
We thought about some of the things you could pop in your box. Some of our suggestions of things we had found that either were yellow, or had yellow packaging, were:
- Sherbet lemon sweets
- Foam banana sweets
- Elastic bands
- Bull clips
- Pot pourri
- Hand Cream
- Lip balm
- Nail Varnish
To go along with the idea of yellow stationery, we created a Post-it-Note cover with some of the additional supplies in the box
Share Sunshine with Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes
Something that was new in the Annual catalogue this year were the mini paper pumpkin boxes. These are perfect for creating your own little boxes of sunshine. We did some spritzing, stamping, punching and decorating to create our own little box.

Even after all this creativity, we still had lots of bits left in our kit and of course we had the stamp set that is included.
The first card was inspired by the semi-circle cards that are popular at the moment. The second card has to be our favourite. As soon as Vonnie had commented that the lemon looked like a goldfish, we couldn’t resist.
