On my Facebook page this week, I have been creating some shimmer and shine dragonflies, with the Dragonfly garden Bundle.
Dragonfly Garden
On a Facebook Live this week, I concentrated on the Dragonfly Garden Bundle.
On both of the cards I added some shimmer to the dragonflies, but using a couple of different methods. In the main, I used the colours from the Designer Series Paper, but check out my Pinterest Board for more colour inspiration from nature.
Shimmer Paint Spritz
This is quite a clean and simple card using strips of the designer series paper and a twirl of the Mossy Meadow braided trim. This dragonfly, resting on his mossy Meadow stitched wings, had his wings coloured with the infill stamp and sponge daubers. I added his shimmer by spritzing him with a mixture of |Rubbing Alcohol; and Frost White Shimmer paint. I added in some of the new opal Rounds for another iridescent touch.
A Wink of Stella
This second card is a fun fold that features a slit through which the dragonfly passes his wings. The colour on both the large and the small dragonflies was added by painting on the ink with a Wink of Stella brush. Colour and sparkle in one application.

More Dandy Inspiration
