Soft & Elegant Monochromatic Easter Card in Lemon Lolly

Handmade Lemon Lolly monochromatic Easter card with tone-on-tone stamped background, layered stylised Easter eggs created with Swirled Design Dies, delicate white and yellow die cut flowers and a Happy Easter sentiment banner.

Lemon Lolly is such a soft and sunny colour and it felt like the perfect shade to create a gentle Easter card.

For my project I used the Swirled Design Dies to create these stylised Easter eggs. I cut the eggs from Lemon Lolly cardstock and then deepened the colour slightly using Lemon Lolly ink and a blending brush to add extra depth and interest.

The background was stamped tone-on-tone using Lemon Lolly ink with the subtle texture stamps from the Swirled Design Stamp Set. This creates a gentle patterned effect that adds interest while still keeping the clean monochromatic look.

To soften the design I added a small cluster of delicate flowers cut using dies from the same set in Lemon Lolly and Basic White. The contrast of the white flowers helps lift the design while still keeping everything in the same colour palette.

The finishing touches include:

A Happy Easter sentiment from the Easter Joy Suite
A few coordinating Lemon Lolly dots
A small bow of white twine to add texture
