Splattering Ink in Cardmaking

Splattering Ink in cardmaking is always a fun technique. I had a play with some white ink to create a starry sky in this project.

This card is my Design Team project for the new Festive Friday Challenge that is this celebrating World’s Space Week. which is happening from 4th-10th October. The Design Team put their heads together and came up with this Inspo List.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge. Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all! The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

My project used: stars, night sky, sparkle, splatter

Splattering Ink in Cardmaking

To create my card, I used the Starlit punch to create the shapes in the Starry Sky cardstock and backed them with a piece of White Glimmer paper. Using White Craft ink, I watered it down and splattered some more stars in the sky. Glimmer paper was also used to cut the snowy bank on which the trees stand. The houses and trees were stamped in black and cut out with the coordinating dies from the Window Wishes bundle. A white watercolour pencil was used to add the highlights.

A few extra stars were punched from Glimmer paper and added to the card front with dimensionals.
