Spring Banner Card

I have created a fresh, spring banner card for this month’s Blog Hop from the Blogging Friends

My Spring Banner Card Project

A spring card featuring a banner created using Stampin' Up's stitched triangles and the Playful Alphabet dies.

Tools: Stitched Triangles, Playful Alphabet, Hydrangea Dies
Paper/Card: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Highland Heather, Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper
Embellishments: Pastel Pearls, White Crinkled Seam Binding
Adhesives; Multipurpose Liquid Glue; Stampin’ Dimensionals; Glue Dots

	A4 metric	Imperial letter Size
Thick Basic White Card Base	14.9cm x 21cm Scored at 10.5cm on the long side	8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side
Highland Heather	14.4cm x 10cm	5 1/4″ x 4“
Designer Series Paper	13.9cm x 9.5cm	5″ x 3 3/4″
Designer Series Paper	For die cut triangles, flowers & border	For die cut triangles, flowers & border
Highland Heather Basic White	For Playful Alphabet	For Playful Alphabet

Instructions

Fold the card base along the score line.
Cut the word “SPRING” from the centre of the Highland Heather mat. Stick the DSP mat to the Highland Heather mat.
Die cut another “SPRING” from Basic White. Die cut stitched triangles for the banner and the border from the patterned paper and also die cut the small flowers from the Hydrangea Dies.
Layer the words up to create a shadow effect and stick the letters to the triangles. Arrange the banner on the card mat and stick the flowers around it.
Stick the border piece on the bottom of the card. Wrap a piece a ribbon around the card at the top of the border and stick to the back.
Attach this mat to the card base. Finish with some pearls and a bow of ribbon.

The Hydrangea Hill patternrd papers were featured in this spring banner card, die cut with the stitched triangles.
