On Saturday 25th January I am holding a Saturday Stampers Class entitled “All Creatures Cute and Furry.” You can see the details and sign up for it here. The mini catalogue has 2 lovely stamp sets featuring a variety of cute little creatures in 2 very different styles.
In The Woods
The “Special Someone” stamp set features this trio of woodland creatures. The photopolymer set is a 2 step stamp set. There are 2 stamps for each animal, one providing the outline and detail and the other filling in the shading. For this card I used some of the DSP from the special pack that is a free gift for anyone joining the Stampin’ Up family during Sale-a-Bration. I stamped onto the DSP using a tree stamp from the “Mountain Air” stamp set. This is another new stamp set and this is one of the new reversible style of stamp sets. I’m sure we will be seeing much more of this set over the coming weeks.
Bright and Bold
As well as a fun and varied selection of stamps in the Birthday Bonanza Suite, there are also coordinating dies and a colourful pack of Designer Series Paper. The dies are also able to cut out some of the characters from the paper pack and that is what I have done on this bright and breezy card. The stitched tag die in this collection is going to be a real go to die for all sorts of projects.

Continuing the theme of cute and furry, the obvious choice would be the ” The Gangs All Meer” stamp set, featuring a whole host of appealing Meerkats. I used this stamp set to create one of the cards that is currently touring the County of Northamptonshire in my evening classes. Who can resist these appealing little chaps.
