Techniques for Creating Stacked Images on Cards

Today’s post is sharing two techniques for creating stacked images on cards.

These cards were created as part of my video for World Cardmaking Day. I was talking about my love of a “nice cup of tea” and so shared projects using the Cup of Tea bundle.

Techniques for Creating Stacked Images on Cards

I explored two techniques for creating a nice stack of tea cups.

This first card uses 3 different die cut teacups that are layered up inside each other. The background of the card has been blended with Balmy Blue ink and some die cut hearts were added. Adhesive Sheet was used on the back of the pastel detailed die cuts to make it easier to stick them to the white solid teacups.

For this second card I used some of Stampin’ Up’s masking paper and the striped tea cup stamp to build up the stack of cups and the foliage in the top. These gorgeous In Colors really pop off the page.
