Thank You Floral Card

This thank you floral card is my project for the new festive Friday Challenge.

The challenge is celebrating World Gratitude Day, which happens on September 21st. With gratitude in mind, we created this Inspo List.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge. Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all! The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

My project used: teal, ribbon, repeated sentiment, die cuts, flowers, thank you, embossing folder

To create my card, I used the Artistically Inked stamp set and co-ordinating dies. Because teal was one of the elements in the Inspo list, I used the colours Pretty Peacock, Lost lagoon and Shaded Spruce for my stamping.

Creating the Card

The Pretty peacock layer in the back was embossed with the Fern 3D embossing folder to add some texture.

on my Basic White card layer, I used a Blending Brush to add Pretty Peacock ink in the background and then stamped the thanks sentiment three times, also in Pretty Peacock.

The large flower was stamped in Lost Lagoon with a Pretty peacock centre. The smaller flowers were stamped in Pretty peacock. Finally the leaves were stamped in Shaded Spruce. These were all cut out with the coordinating dies.

A swirl of Lost Lagoon ribbon was added to the back of the large flower, before the flowers and leaves were then all arranged on the card.

The Pretty Peacock sequins were added as a finishing touch.
