In this recent life we explored the kissing technique in cardmaking as well as other things.

Two cards using Stampin' Up's! Hello Ladybug and All Squared away Bundles and featuring the kissing technique

The cards featured both use the Hello Ladybug bundle and also feature the All Squared away bundle which is currently on offer.

The Hello Ladybug bundle consists of a photopolymer stamp and a coordinating punch that punches out the body and the wings of one of the ladybugs featured in the stamp set. The All Squared away bundle is a series of small background stamps and sentiments that can work with the Floral Square dies and matching flowers in the die set.

My Cards With the Hello Ladybug Bundle

This clean and simple card uses the Hello ladybug bundle from Stampin' Up and dies from the All squared away bundle

This first card has a clean and simple look that is achieved with the use of lots of white space. This punched ladybug is resting on the corner of a die cut floral square. The Basic White mat they are sitting on has had Pool Party ink blended in the centre before being embossed with the Dots Embossing Folder. This is one of the folders that will fit through the mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.

Some Black & white Gingham ribbon was added and then some of the Classic matte dots.

The Kissing Technique in Cardmaking

The flowers in this card demonstrate how to use the kissing technique in cardmaking with supplies from Stampin' Up!

In this second card you can see how to use the kissing technique in card making. These flowers were created by kissing the solid flower from the Hello Ladybug stamp set on to the dotty background stamp in the All Squared away set. In addition, the centre of these flowers have a distinctive ladybug look.

The ladybug in this card is coloured with Stampin’ Blends. It is then die cut with a label die from the Stitched So sweetly set. One of the three leaves was fussy cut and added to the card with dimensionals.

The Hello Ladybug stamp set and All squared Away stamp set, both from Stampin' Up! have been used for the kissing technique

This card was embellished with both the Playful Pets ribbon and some red Matte Decorative Dots.
