Let me tell you about The People I Meet – Customers
There are so many benefits to being an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and by far one of the greatest is the people I meet along the way. It is often said that people join for the discount, but stay for the relationships.
In this occasional series I thought I would share with you some of those people and the huge way they have enriched my life by being a part of my Love-a-Duckie world.
Valerie
I first met Valerie when I started a craft group in her village. My daughter had recently moved to the village and part of my motivation for starting the group was to help her meet some other local people.
Valerie came along as a stranger to us both, but is now very much considered a friend. She never misses the Grandchildren’s birthdays and always pops around to my daughter with a card. During lockdown, we have often crafted together over Zoom as we have shared the ups and downs of life.
I will often receive cards through the post from Valerie “just because”. She is a great sender of cards and loves nothing more than sharing a paper hug with others.
I hope over the years I have been able to share some of my knowledge and inspiration with Valerie, but what I have gained is so much more. She will encourage me in my business and suggest new things to try. As well as coming along herself to craft with me, she has also introduced me to several lovely ladies. She is a one woman promotional machine.
