Welcome to my Blog and my Tri-fold aperture card project.

Every month I am part of a team of Demonstrators from around the world, who put together the Tutorial Bundle you can receive free if you shop with me, or are a member of my team. These fabulous bundles of inspiration are also available to purchase from any of the participating demonstrators.

Purchase the bundle

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing you with lots of inspiration, starting this month we are also going to take part in a Blog Hop. This won’t feature the projects in the tutorial, but will give you a bit of a taster as to what you will find there.

My Tri-Fold Aperture Card.

For my card in the tutorial bundle this month, I used the duck from the “Field Journal” stamp set. Obviously ducks have a special place in my heart. So for this blog hop, I thought I would retain a similar colour scheme, but would create this tri-fold aperture card.

Here is a whistle stop step-by-step to how I created it.

The basic card base was created by taking a piece of A4 Cinnamon Cider cardstock and cutting a strip the length of the card measuring 9.9cm wide. The strip was then scored at 9.9cm/19.8cm to create the tri fold.

With US lettercard, (if my calculations are right) to create a small square tri-fold card like this you would need to cut your strip at 3 5/8″ wide, scored at 3 5/8, 7 1/4″. You may need to trim a slither off the end.

More Ducks?

If like me, you love a duck card, you may be interested in these others I created during a Facebook live recently.
