I have been doing lots of two step stamping with the Sweet Strawberry bundle. There are a few stamp set and punch bundles in the new January-June mini catalogue. The Sweet Strawberry surely has to be the most tasty. This bundle consists of a photopolymer, 2-step, stamp set and the coordinating punch.

This fabulous bundle gives you the tools to create bright cards and 3D projects with a watercolour feel. From simple cards, to 3D strawberries bursting from a pot or frame, the potential with these is endless.

This isn’t the only fruity products available at this time, because one of the sale-a-bration offerings has been designed to complement the strawberry bundle beautifully. The Berry Blessings stamp set and Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper is a level 2 Sale-a-Bration item. It consists of the Berry Blessings Photopolymer Stamp and a pack of 12” square Designer Series paper. The two-step photopolymer stamp set features raspberries/blackberries and blueberries and the coordinating bright paper features lots of berries and some patterned papers that are reminiscent of picnic mats and kitchen tablecloths.

Some Fruity Projects

Let’s put these products to use and look at some card designs.

Two Step Stamping with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle

Two step stamping using the stamparatus and the Sweet Strawberry Bundle from Stampin' Up

For this card I used the Stamparatus to help me do the two step stamping with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle. You may find your Stamparatus is really useful if you are creating multiple strawberries, leaves and blossoms for a card. Punch the shapes out of an oddment of cardstock to create a template, and place it in your Stamparatus, holding it in place with magnets. Line your outline stamps up in the holes and pick up with the plate. Next, turn the plate around, then line the fill-in stamps in the holes and pick up with the other side of the plate. You are now ready to stamp lots of images.

The Stamparatus Stamp positioning tool from Stampin' Up is so useful for two step stamping.

Using the punch, gather up all the shapes you need. Three of each shape were used here. Lay the punched shapes in the holes in the template, then stamp the detailed side with black ink. Stampin’ Spots were used to add ink to the individual stamps for the fill-in stamps, . I choose Poppy Parade for the strawberries, Old Olive for the leaves and stalks and Daffodil Delight around the edge of the blossom.

The card has a white card base, with a Poppy Parade mat. The Old Olive layer has the strawberry plant stamped on it, coloured in with watercolour pencils. Finally, the punched shapes are arranged onto a large, stitched circle.

Blueberries

A two step stamping card featuring blueberries from the Berry Blessing Collection from Stampin Up

The blueberry leaves and berries from the Berry Blessings set were stamped onto a panel of White card on this second card. A strip of the Designer Series Paper was added across the Night of Navy Card Base. The twine comes from the Well Suited combo pack.

Blackberries

This card with blackberries uses the two step stamping technique and the Berry Blessings collection from Stampin' Up

This third card again uses the Berry Blessings stamp to create blackberries scattered around a Stitched Rectangle. This Blackberry bliss card base has a layer of another of the Patterned Designer Series papers.

I had also played with these products on a Facebook Live a few weeks ago and you can see those projects here. The papers were used for the sweet bag with its dangling 3D strawberry. Strawberries and blossom feature on the pretty birthday card.
