For this month’s Stampin’ for Christmas blog hop I created a two step stamping Christmas card using the Christmas Season stamp set.
This monthly blog hop brings Christmas inspiration the whole year through, encouraging us not to leave all our Christmas cards to a last minute rush in December.
This Christmas Season stamp set is a 2 step stamp set which has a coordinating die set. It creates watercolour effect imagery and invites you to create arrangements of holly, pine cones and greenery.
In this card I have combined it with the “sending” word die cuts from the new Sending Dies in the Annul Catalogue
Two Step Stamping Christmas Card
To create my card, I stamped Soft Suede pine cones, Garden Green and Real Red Holly and Early Espresso and Pale Papaya mistletoe onto Basic White card. I also added in some Soft Suede dots. Using Blending Brushes, I sponged Soft Suede and then Garden Green ink around the edges of the card.
The “sending” die cuts were cut from Early Espresso and Real Red cardstock. The two layers were stuck together and then stuck to the stamped mat. The “seasons greetings” sentiment from the stamp set was stamped onto Basic White cardstock and then cut out. It was backed onto Early Espresso card and then added to the card with dimensionals.
This stamped mat was backed with an Early Espresso mat then a hole was punched in the top and some Real Red Linen ribbon threaded through and tied with some linen thread. This mat was then stuck to a Real Red card base.
The Basic White insert was sponged in the bottom right corner with Garden Green ink and then stamped with holly.
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects

Isn’t it funny you mixed sentiments the same way Laura did? And I had the same idea, but did not use it LOL. But still your card is so different! Love the playful look!
Your christmas card turned out lovely. Neat how you placed every thing.
You used the same set as Laura and I but gave it a totally different look. It turned out lovely. TFS!
