For this month’s Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop I am sharing some two step stamping on this summer card.
The Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop is one of the monthly hops that happens as part of the Crafty Collaborations community.
Two Cards With The So Refreshing Bundle
Alongside the refreshing summer drink card, I used the same So Refreshing bundle to create a monochrome Thinking of You card. The So Refreshing bundle consists of a Photopolymer stamp set and great coordinating dies. Some of the dies cut out the stamped images, but there are some great additional dies, including a textured picnic rug/tablecloth.

Two Step Stamping on this Summer Card
This card uses some Designer Series Paper from the bumper Delightfully Eclectic pack. I have used the Petal Pink in the pink in the paper to influence the colours throughout the project. My pink lemonade is accompanied by some lemons and lemon slices. The stamped and die cut images are mounted on the label that is created using the Nested Essentials dies. The ribbon is from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack.
Thinking Of You
The stamp set doesn’t just feature the drink element, but also these great flowers and a die cut jug with a slit in the top, that allows you to arrange the flowers in it.
The paper I used for this project is taken from the Countryside Inn pack. These are gorgeous papers in shades of blue. They features some cute countryside animals and images from nature as well as some generic patterns. I love this striped paper.
To give my die cut jug some texture, I embossed it with the Crosshatch 3D Embossing Folder and then sponged some white craft ink over the top to highlight the surface pattern.
