Using Bright Colours In Christmas Cards

This post has moved away from the traditional and is using bright colours in Christmas Cards. This projects is part of the Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop.

We are a group of Demonstrators, led by Louise, seeking to learn, implement and improve our use of technology and online resources in our businesses.

Using Bright Colours In Christmas Cards

To create this card I have used the vibrant Merry, Bold & Bright Suite from the September-December Mini Catalogue that consists of stamps, dies, papers, foil, embellishments and ribbon. Together it is a collection that really jumps off the card.

Foil Lights

This first card uses the foils from the collection to create bright bulbs hanging from a die cut string. These have been teamed with some striped paper from the Designer Series paper pack.

There are several sentiments in this set that stamp to give you a block of colour, with the words created by the negative part within that block. These look really effective when stamped onto Basic White card and then cut out to leave a white border.

Some if the Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs from the suite have been scattered around the front of the card.

Coloured Strings of Lights.

This second card features stamped bulbs and string on the front panel. the background is made up of die cut strings of light, whose bulbs have been coloured.

As the sentiment says “Oh, what fun!”
