In today’s project I have been using die cut backgrounds on my monochromatic card.
Each week Demonstrators from the Crafty Collaborations Community take part in a Monochromatic Insta Hop over on Instagram. Each week a different colour is chosen and the participants create a monochromatic card.
The colour this week is Pretty Peacock and I can’t wait to see all the other ideas that my fellow demonstrators have come up with
Using Die Cut Backgrounds
To create this card, I have used the die cut frame and inner foliage section from the Citrus Bloom dies to cut a panel from Pretty Peacock cardstock. This has then been layered onto a Basic White mat. Some Pretty Peacock & Gold ribbon has been wrapped around it before then adding it to a standard Pretty Peacock card base.
The flowers, sentiment and banner have all been taken from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and coordinating dies. The daisy outlines were stamped in Pretty Peacock and then 2nd generation Pretty Peacock was used for the daisy infill. This is where you stamp off onto scrap paper first.
The sentiment has also been stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto the basic White banner. I love this sentiment.
Finally a bow of the ribbon was added with a glue dot and some Pretty Pink Foiled gems were placed around the card front.
An insert was stamped with some of the large daisy outlines before being stuck inside.
