Using Foiled Paper in Card Making

Today’s posts is demonstrating ideas for using foiled paper in card making

At Stampin’ for Christmas we do Christmas all year round. We are not getting to the time when Christmas Card making starts in earnest and I am sharing some cards with you that I created on a recent Live. Both cards use the Silver & Gold 6″x6″ Designer Series paper pack that is available as a Sale-a-Bration item.

Using Foiled Paper in Card Making

This touch of metallic gives these cards a real pop and they have both been partnered with other metallic products in the catalogue.

Gold Deer

This Deer from the Peaceful Deer stamp set, with its coordinating punch, has been gold embossed, as have the background trees. I have used both striped and spotted gold paper in the background and there are mats of Gold Distressed paper. The smaller mat was cut from the centre of the larger one. Embellishments are Brushed Metallic Dots and gold thread.

Silver Church.

The stunning Church image from the Peace to You Stamp set was stamped in Night of Navy. This was mounted onto some Night of Navy card. The card base was Night of Navy with a may of the silver spotted paper on top. Embellishments for this card were Sparkle & Shine Sequins and Silver Thread.
