As always with the weekly Monochromatic Insta Hop, we have been using one colour to create a card.
Each week Demonstrators from the Crafty Collaborations Community take part in a Monochromatic Insta Hop over on Instagram. Each week a different colour is chosen and the participants create a monochromatic card.
The colour this week is our choice of retiring In Colors and I have chosen Moody Mauve. I can’t wait to see all the other ideas that my fellow demonstrators have come up with.
Using One Colour To Create A Card
The floral papers in the Wildly Flowering pack are so pretty. There are a mixture of smaller floral patterns, like this one and some larger bolder flowers.
The stamp set features some sweet mall floral designs and as well as coordinating dies for the stamped images, there are also some lovely frames and labels in the die set.

This standard sized card base features:
- a mat of Moody Mauve card that has been distressed around the edges
- a mat of patterned paper
- Both the outside frame and inner section of one of the die cuts. _ the inner label has been stamped with the crosshatch image.
- a wildflower, stamped in Moody Mauve and then wink of Stella used to “paint” the flowers, before being die cut
- Foliage stamped with the Bough Punch
- A bow of Jute Trim
- Some pearls from the adhesive backed pearl trio.
These In Colors have added a real vintage feel to our colour collection. I wonder what 2025-2027 In Colors will bring?
