Twice a month there is a Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world who come together to bring you a selection of projects inspired by different themes. The theme for this hop is Paper Strips.
Using Paper Strips to Create a Card

It is always great to have ideas for cards that will use up strips of patterned paper that you have leftover from other projects. I recently used the Floral Charms papers in a class and so this was the perfect pack to use for this project.
This Basic White side-opening card has a mat of Petunia Pop DSP from the Floral Charm papers. There are 3 strips of 2cm x 9cm floral papers on the left-hand side of the card. The sentiment in stamped onto the right-hand end of a 2cm by 9cm piece of Petunia Pop paper. This is then backed with a 2.5cm x 9.5cm piece of Pretty Peacock patterned paper. This sentiment strip is stuck to the card front.
The floral arrangement is fussy cut from one of the patterned papers. A bow of Crumb Cake thread has been attached to the card front, before adding the floral arrangement with dimensionals.
