For this month’s hop I thought I would have a go at using Speciality Papers in Christmas Cards.
This hop is designed to keep us designing a few cards all year round, rather than waiting for last minute Christmas rush.
Using Speciality Papers in Christmas Cards
The card base I’d made from Starry Sky cardstock . Using the Starlit punch, I have made a stencil that I have used to add Starry Sky stars to the card base. I have also added white dots using White Craft ink and the end of the embossing tool from the Take Your Pick tool.
Again using the Starlit punch, I have punched some star apertures into a piece of Starry Sky glimmer paper. This has been laid over some Mother of Pearl paper from the January-June mini catalogue. A length of Starry Sky metallic ribbon was tied around this mat before it was attached with dimensionals.
The sentiment comes from the Christmas to remember stamp set and I cut it into two parts, before adding it.
Some Starry Sky Matte Decorative Dots gave the finishing touch
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
How Can I Help?
We have the new July-December mini Catalogue launching very soon, but until then I hope you have found lots of inspiration for Christmas cards on this hop.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if I can help with your purchases, or if you have a crafty question.
Meanwhile stay safe and stay well
