Vintage Style Cards with Abigail Rose

On a recent Live, I enjoyed creating vintage style cards with Abigail Rose, a pretty floral Suite from Stampin’ Up!

The suite consists of a photopolymer stamp and a coordinating die set; 12″ x 12″ Designer Series paper and a reel of Natural Finish ribbon. As well as cutting out the stamped images, there are also dies that create detailed flowers and foliage to work with the other elements in the suite.

The Designer Series paper has a soft, muted colour palette which makes it perfect for vintage style cards.

My Vintage Style Cards with Abigail Rose

Flowers coloured with Stampin' Blends on this vintage style card and Stampin' Up's Abigail Rose Suite

This first card uses some masking paper to create a layered floral mat, which has been coloured with Stampin’ Blends. The edge of this mat has been torn and the edges inked with a blending brush. The card base has layers of the Designer Series Paper which have been wrapped in some Linen thread.

Stampin' Up's Soft Pastels have been used on this vintage style get well card using Abigail Rose suite.

This second card features flowers that have been fussy cut from Designer Series paper and then colour added with Soft Pastels. The paper in the background has been crumpled to give a distressed look and splatters have been added. There is a swirl of the Natural Finish ribbon in the background. This ribbon has a soft finish on it.
