These two vintage style honeybee cards were both created on a recent live using Stampin’ Up’s Honeybee Home bundle.
The bundle consists of a Cling Rubber stamp and a coordinating die set and they come from the Heart & Home Suite. As well as cutting out the stamped images, there are also dies that create additional foliage pieces for your projects.
My Vintage Style Honeybee Cards
This first card has a layered look that is achieved with different Designer Series Paper, embossed cardstock and a doily. The flowers were stamped and coloured with a Pale Papaya Stampin’ Write marker and the honeybee has shimmery crystal effects added to its wings.
Some Very Vanilla Classic Matte Dots were coloured with a Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blend.
Honeybee Stencil
This second card was created sponging through a stencil made by die cutting the three different bees from a piece of cardstock. These inked outlines were then stamped over with the bee stamps and the. edges inked The resulting design was teamed with some embossed Night of Navy cardstock. Some Denim ribbon was added alongside some die cut foliage
