For this month’s Christmas card, I bring you some Whimsy & Wonder Heat Embossing.
This lovely blog hop brings you Christmas cards all year round. We are, however, edging nearer to this big festival and Christmas crafting is definitely upping a notch all around. I thought I would bring you a project using the Whimsy & Wonder suite, because I am in love with its soft colour palette and quirky trees.
My Whimsy & Wonder Heat Embossing Project
You’ll find all the products I used to create my card listed at the bottom of my post.

| Mint Macaron card base | 10.5cm x 29.7cm Scored at 14.9cm on the long side. | 4 1/4″ x 11″ Scored at 5 1/2″ on the long side. |
| DSP | 14.4cm x 10cm | 5 1/4″ x 4“ |
| DSP | 14.4cm x 6cm | 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ |
| Basic White insert | 14.4cm x 6cm | 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ |
Instructions
- Fold the card base along the score line.
- To form the front panel, trim a 2cm / 3/4″ strip from each side of the front flap.
- Stick the DSP panels on to the back panel and front panel respectively.
- Stamp the large tree on Mint Macaron card with Mint Macaron ink. Stamp the dots in Versamark and heat emboss with white.
- Stamp the medium size tree twice on Mint Macaron cardstock with Versamark and heat emboss in white.
- Die cut the 3 trees and a set of small stars.
- Stick the two embossed trees to the large tree, one on each side.
- Attach a piece of Mint Macaron Soft Velvet Ribbon across the card front. Add the trees over the top with dimensionals.
- Stick the stars to the card front, scattered above the trees.
- Stamp the sentiment on a strip of basic White card. Attach across the trees with mini dimensionals.
- Stick the Basic White insert to the back of the front panel.
