White on White Card

For this month’s Casually Crafting Blog hop, I have designed a white on white card. The hardest thing about creating this elegant card was trying to photograph it!

The idea behind this blog hop is to show that you can create beautiful cards even if you don’t have lots of equipment. These beautiful cards are great for crafters who are just starting out, but even avid crafters will love to try these designs.

For this month’s challenge we had a tic tac toe board and I chose the row across the top: white, punch and three. I thought this card would be perfect for a Wedding, Engagement or Anniversary.

My White on White Card

A white on white card featuring heat embossing and using Stampin' Up's Very Versaille stamp set.

	A4 metric	Imperial letter Size
Thick Basic White Card Base	10.5cm x 29.7cm Scored at 14.9cm on the long side.	4 1/4″ x 11″ Scored at 5 1/2″ on the long side.
Basic White	14.4cm x 10cm	5 1/4″ x 4“
Basic White	3 punched hearts	3 punched hearts

Instructions

Fold the card along the score line to create the card base.
On the Basic White mat, stamp the script stamp twice down the left hand side using Versamark ink. Sprinkle on some white embossing powder and heat with a heat tool.
Punch 3 hearts from Basic White card and stamp the leaves on it with Versamark. Add white embossing powder and heat.
Using dimensionals. stick the three hearts down the centre of the white mat. Tie a length of white Bakers Twine around the card and tie with a bow.
Add this mat to the card front with dimensionals. Add a few small pearls.

The Very Versaille stamp set from Stampin' Up has been used to add heat embossed detail to this white on white card.

Using Gray Granite ink, stamp the sentiment and some leaves on the inside of the card.

Gray Granite has been used on the inside of this white on white card to keep the colours muted.
