Welcome to my blog and my thank you note card that I want to share.
The Stampin’ Up! year begins at the start of October and with a new year comes a new Demonstrator Support Program, where talented crafters from around the world find support and training to strengthen and grow their businesses. One of the delights of these programs is the monthly blog hop. This is an opportunity for demonstrators to share their creativity with a wider audience and it gives all of our customers and followers access to lots of inspiration.
My Project
During the blog hops this year we are going to be sharing Thank You cards that we have created to send out to our lovely customers that have purchased from us during the month.
For my card I took one of the Very Vanilla note cards and added some Rococo Rose elements. Using Rococo Rose ink, I stamped a band across a 3″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla card using the Textured Essentials stamp set. The greeting from the Beauty Abounds stamp set was also stamped in Rococo Rose, underneath this band. The flower stamp from the “Posted For You” stamp set was stamped with Stazon ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and punched out with the rectangular postage punch. I added colour with a blender pen and Rococo Rose, Just Jade and Bumblebee ink. Taking the larger ball end of the embossing tool attachment in the Take Your Pick tool, I dipped it in the Rococo Rose ink pad and added dots around the flower.
In the Frame
To create the frame around this flower image, I punched 2 rectangular pieces from Rococo Rose. I cut one in half lengthwise and one in half width wise. These were then stuck around the edge of the stamped image.
I cut the scalloped edge off from a strip of Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon. I wrapped a piece around the centre of the card and then stuck the stamp element in place with dimensionals. A bow made from the ribbon was added to the side with a glue dot.
This card front was added to a Rococo Rose mat measuring 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ and this was then added to the note card with dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
The finishing touches were some pearls that had been coloured with the Dark Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blend.
I can’t wait to send this pretty little thank you note card to one of my lovely customers.
