I had fun creating creating windmill themed cards with the Tulip Fields bundle from Stampin’ Up on a recent Live.
The bundle is a part of the bumper Flowering Fields suite. It consists of a photopolymer stamp and a coordinating die set. As well as cutting out the stamped images, there are also detailed dies that enable you to create a fabulous windmill with moving sails..
Creating Windmill Themed Cards
This first card uses the clever tulip stamps to create this scene with the rows of blooms and the windmill. The sky in the background is some of the beautiful Designer Series paper from the Suite. Those adorable little fence panels are such a fun element on this card.
This second card bold and bright card features some more paper from the suite and a detailed windmill. The sweet like bike die cut is a great addition. This Dutch barn Door style of card is simple to put together, but creates a wow on the mantelpiece.
The little rows of tulips on the side panel remind me of Ric-Rac trim from my childhood dresses.
