Today I am featuring another project where I have been die cutting patterned paper. You can see the earlier Christmas card post here.
For this Stamping With Friends Blog Hop, we are concentrating on the retiring 2020-2022 In Colors. My cardstock supplies are running low, but I do still have some of the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series papers. I have combined these with the Nature’s Harvest bundle, which I am delighted to see is carrying over to the upcoming 2022-2023 Annual catalogue.
Die Cutting Patterned Paper
My Harvest bouquet is made up of die cuts elements from the In Color paper. For the wheat I paper pieced some Bumblebee heads onto Cinnamon Cider Stalks. For the central flower, I firstly added a Magenta Madness flower head to a Just Jade stalk. I then stuck a small piece of Cinnamon Cider paper as the flower centre and took another small piece of Magenta Madness and curled it with my bone folder before attaching it with a strip of dimensionals from the side of the sheet.
there are two banner pieces in this die set. I cut one from Bumblebee paper and stamped my sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on the smaller one.
These were all added to a background of Misty Moonlight Designer series paper on a Basic White card base. To finish I added some other retiring items. A bow made from Bumblebee Gingham ribbon and some In Color Square Gems.
Let’s Hop
I hope you like my project. Do let me know in the comments. Now it is time to hop and see the other In Color creativity.
