Today I am bringing you a “Have a Hoot” Halloween Card. The gang over at the Crafty Blog Hops are sharing projects with the theme “Howlin’ Halloween” as we are now into October.
My Have a Hoot Halloween Card
I love this “Have a Hoot” bundle, because of the great versatility it offers. Today I have used it to create a cute Halloween card, but these little owls can be used for so much. They also have you covered for your Christmas cards and with a little imagination you can create Birthday cards, new home, wedding/engagement/anniversary cards. I just love stamp sets that are this versatile. All this and cute as well.
I used the fun die that creates the apertures to create my front panel and then stamped my images on a piece of Whisper White card and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends. Throw in a silver foil spider web, cut in half and stuck behind the bottom windows and we instantly have more interest and texture. The greeting was heat embossed in silver with a small piece of the wispy Metallic Mesh Ribbon stuck behind it. The stunning irridescent pearls add the finishing touch.
