It is time to pack your bag for school. The Crafty Blog Hop group are sharing some back to School projects this week. Lots of children have been heading back to the classroom of many months at home. Although things will be a bit different in the classroom, I’m sure they will all be pleased to back with their friends and I’m sure parents are relishing the return to some sort of normality.
My Pack Your Bag for School Project
I thought I would create a backpack card. Using a section of the bag die from the All dressed Up Dies, along with a button, straps and a couple of buckles, I was able to build this fun bag. The papers came from the Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper pack. These fun 6″ x 6″ papers are such a fun collection. I used one pattern for the bag and teamed it with some Night of navy and seaside Spray cardstock. The flap was created using a stitched rectangle. I choose another pattern of paper for the card background. This is a 5″ x 7″ card base.
I cut the pencils from Crumb Cake cardstock and added the colour with a Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend. These were then popped in the front pocket.
The greeting comes from the “Many Mates” stamp set. I embossed it with white embossing powder and added colour with the Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend.
