I have loved creating Christmas cards with the Angels on Earth stamp set, because I love the vintage feel you can create with it. There is lots of opportunity for sponging, heat embossing, water colouring, ripping and using beautiful papers..
The corner stamp, that I have embossed in copper, is so pretty
You can still have fun with non-traditional colours
The beautiful copper foiled paper from Joyous Noel speciality pack brings classic elegance to this card
I unashamedly cased this card from inspiration on the internet. I loved all the different sponged and torn elements and that merry merlot ribbon is stunning.
Gold embossing and a watercolour wash with a big swirl of ribbon
If you are feeling inspired to get all angelic, check out the links below. Don’t forget, for every £30 you spend with me in a single order this year, you will colour in a star on your loyalty card. 10 stars and you will earn a voucher to spend on more lovely goodies.
My daughter snapped this beautiful atmospheric picture of the lock on the River Nene as she got out of the car at Wadenhoe Village Hall, all ready to set up for our day of crafting fun last Saturday.
I hadn’t used this venue before, but we were really pleased with the facilities as well as the location.
It took 2 cars to transport all the crafting essentials and food over to the venue, but we at least ensured that nobody ran out of either. The tables were groaning with crafting goodies and inspiration and the food kept coming from the kitchen in abundance all day.
We had a funky playlist on in the background that ensured a regular outburst of singalong and dance along and there were smiles, chatter and laughter all around.
Everyone seemed delighted with their goodie bags and table gifts. It was certainly a day to be pampered. A creative escape as promised.
It was a fabulous day and I can’t wait for the 2 days I have planned for 2019.
You can find more details about my day retreats here and the PayPal buttons are there for both dates, ready for when you want to pay your deposit and subsequent payments.
Places are limited, so do ensure you secure your place soon.
During November, Stampin’ Up are going to be offering a beautiful collection of exclusive time-limited products. As a demonstrator, I have been able to order mine and I am eagerly watching to see when they are going to arrive in my hands so I can start playing.
While I wait, there are a few things Stampin’ Up! have published to whet my appetite.
Like the pictures of the products:
Not 1, but 2, stamp sets.
This one is very Christmassy. Gorgeous tree
This one can be used all year round. I love the fonts with the sentiments
How about this for a collection of dies. Lots of layering potential and it co-ordinates with both stamp sets
And to embellish we have white velvet paper and lightweight silver charms
All together that adds up to a fantastic collection that is going to take you through Christmas, New Year and way beyond.
How about some samples of cards that Stampin’ Up have created
Not seen enough? Stampin’ Up have released a video to show the products up close.
Just stunning. Now you see why I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
Do you want to get your hands on it too? You’ll have to wait until November I’m afraid…
You can place all these items in your starter kit basket. along with other products of your choice and take advantage of Stampin’ Up’s continuous special deal.-£130 of product for £99. Find out more about joining the Stampin’ Up family and all the benefits, including the 20% discount on future orders, here.
The other benefit of joining my Love-a-Ducklings team now, is the extra time you get to make your first quarter minimums. In order to stay as a demonstrator and keep getting that discount, Stampin’ Up do ask that you place a minimum order each quarter. However, you are never expected to achieve that minimum in the quarter that you join. That means, join today and you have until the end of March to reach your first goal.
So lovely goodies now
Goalpost months away.
Look out for me to start playing with my goodies when they arrive. If you are coming along to my retreat on October 20th, there will be an opportunity to play with them there. Find details of my retreat here
This is one forecast of snow this winter that I am really looking forward to.
October 1st sees the start of a new Stampin’ Up Year. It is an exciting time, when every demonstrator has a list of goals they want to achieve and new ideas to help them to fulfil them.
On this New (Stampin’ Up!) Year’s Day, I want to introduce you to my Stamping Stars Loyalty Card. Every time you place an individual order of £30 or more, you will have filled in one of the stars on your card. Once you have filled all 10 stars, you will be eligible for a £20 voucher off of your next order.
There is no limit to how many cards you can fill in during the year, but the promotion only runs from October 1st 2018 to September 30th 2019. After that, the stars will no longer be able to count towards any future similar promotion.
So start looking at those shopping lists and let me add your name to one of the cards. I will keep them safely on a ring, but I will notify you when you have earned a star and keep you updated on your progress.
The New Catalogue has been launched and like its cover, it is bright and colourful. I have added a link to the PDF of the catalogue to the side bar for anyone who hasn’t got a paper version.
If you visit Stampin’ Up!’s You Tube channel you will find lots of videos highlighting new products and giving inspiration and techniques. Check them out here
I have hosted the first of my launch events today, with another tomorrow. Even if you can’t join me in person, do look out for the Facebook launch event that is happening tomorrow evening and if you can’t join me in real time, be sure to check back later to see some of the inspiration and new products I will be sharing. You can find the event here
I look forward to spending a crafty year with this new catalogue and of course with you.
A new look blog/website, a new catalogue.Lots of excitement in one week. As well as adding some content to this website, I have also been playing with new goodies in preparation for the catalogue launch at the end of the week.
I took one of the beautiful new 12″ x 12″ Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Speciality Paper and using my snips, I cut it into smaller pieces.
Then I used lots of new dies and sentiment stamps and a whole host of the new colours and created 12 different cards from the one sheet.
I think these sheets are going to be a beautiful addition to everyone’s crafty stash.
I look forward to sharing lots more new and exciting products with you over the coming weeks. Get your wish lists ready
